Troubleshooting
Q: There is a blue-screen with "error loading module 'luamidi' from file '.\luamidi.dll';" error message.
A: Please make sure you are using 64-bit Windows OS, and also installed Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime 2012:

Q: I can't render, it shows "FFmpeg (ffmpeg.exe) not found".
A: Please download FFmpeg win64 binary from the following link and copy the "ffmpeg.exe" in "bin" folder to the root folder of MIDIFall.
https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/
Q: What is constant rate factor on the rendering panel?
A: Lower the value is, better video quality (bigger size) you get, 18 should be good enough.
Q: Why the colour of rendered videos looks weird?
A: Sorry, but actually I have not yet find out the solution or even the problem source.
Q: The sound has latency!
A: The sound processing is independent with MIDIFall, it depends on your MIDI player. You can try BASSMIDI or VirtualMIDISynth for low-latency playing.
Q: There is a error message "Failed to check for updates".
A: Please download Java JRE from the following link. Also you can turn off "Check at startup" options in the "About" page if you see this error message everytime you start MIDIFall.

Q: Why do my screen looks very blurry?
A: You are probably using the scaling in Windows 10. There is a procedure to disable the scaling on an application. Unfortunately, I am using Hong Kong version of Windows, so I am not sure about the English labels. You can check it out:
